Back country clinics with experienced pro athletes
MAG offers 2 backcountry clinics at the end of every month, one class is a beginner class for people who are looking to cover the basics of SnowMX and develop your basic rider skills in any direction. The second class is an advanced class for experienced riders who are looking to take their skills to the next level and push your limits from some of the best in the snow-bike world. Pre book in advance for our clinics and choose a one or two day clinic of your choice.
Our clinics are designed for riders of all experience to have fun and improve their skills safely at a process that you are comfortable with. The clinics can take place at various locations depending on request, a few locations we are able to have the clinics at are: Silver Star mountain, Sovereign Lake, King fisher, and the mountains of Revelstoke. We book for around 2-10 people per clinic, and must be pre-booked in advance, payment and registration must be completed prior to the clinic. This clinic is for people who are looking to cover the basics of SnowMX and develop your basic rider skills in any direction.
Here is what you will learn:
-Theory of bike setup and how to get the most of your ride
-Basic rider positions and habits
-Scouting locations and reading the snow (take offs and landings)
-Learn the approach to taking jumps and drop offs
-Anything the participant would like to learn or better their skills on

This clinic is for experienced riders wanting to take their skills to the next level. Here is an outline of this clinic, but the participant may focus on any aspect of SnowMx they wish to further their skills on.
-We make sure to check or develop your basic rider skills before pushing on
-Fundamentals of reading the mountain and the snow
-Learn how to best take jumps and drop offs, the approach, in air position, and how to land properly
-Up hill accents and line choice as well as efficient descents without use of brakes
-Give you the tools to start pushing your own limits
